At Shift experience collective wellness + yoga studio

Annicia Fogal is the founder of Shift Experience Collective, a connection catalyst and lifelong lover of the natural world. She creates spaces and experiences that invite people to breathe deeply, and reconnect with themselves, one another, and with the living earth through mindfulness, yoga, nature connection, and other embodied practices. 

This October, she opened our West Coast inspired gathering house and wellness studio in Cumberland for Shift Experience Collective to land in, rooted in her belief that we are better together. A space designed for people to be together and deeply connect through experiencing diverse offerings. She believes that meaningful connection is at the heart of a healthy, rooted community.

From farm life to a corporate office, Annicia spent years noticing how quickly the pace of "doing" can pull us out of our bodies. Witnessing the imbalance in her own life, a physical and mental weight that became a baseline except when practicing yoga.

That passion for practicing being human and shifting her perspective led her to balancing corporate leadership with the lifelong practice of being a student of movement and mindfulness. After almost a decade of teaching and a rich tapestry of trainings and certifications Shift Experience Collective was born.

Annicia created a warm gathering house that feels like a deep breath, a third space. Whether you’re navigating a career change, the beautiful chaos of parenthood, or the physical toll of miles on the trail, this is a place to land.

Annicia’s background in leadership and communications has taught her that we’re well when we’re connected. We don’t have to navigate life transitions or burnout alone. Through our weekly movement cycles and seasonal workshops, she guides you to move from the heart, explore your edges, and return home to yourself.

When Annicia is not at the collective, you’ll find her with her two rescue pups in the backcountry, biking, swimming, simply saying yes to the next adventure.
