Shift Experience is a serene west coast gathering house nestled inside a historic 1912 heritage building in Cumberland, perfect for hosting intimate wellness events for up to 30 people. The space features an open floor plan ideal for anything from movement to long table dinners to dance parties, to work meetings and so much more, a cozy eclectic lounge area, and a functional kitchenette, though there are several other unique features about this venue that make it truly special.

How to gather at shift
We are excited to share our space and have formulated a smooth way for you to experience it so you can plan your meaningful gathering. For ease, simplicity, openness and guidance you’ll need to navigate this page for your booking.
A full refund will be issued within 3 days should we decline your booking. We reserve the right to decline bookings that do not synergize with our space policies and values.
Your Post Experience Responsibilities:
Wipe down all tables and surfaces used, Wash and put away any dishes or glassware used, Sweep floors and vacuum floors, Check that you have all your belongings, check the fridge. Reset thermostat, turn off all lights, turn off speaker, double check all doors are latched and locked.
If the space is left altered from its original state it may result in a $150 cleaning fee charged to your booking card.
Your Experience Responsibilities:
Reserve the adequate time slot. The reservation time includes set up so you can allocate the time you need to arrive at the space and prepare it for your purposes, and leave it in the same condition.
Review and acknowledge the Terms + Conditions before booking.
Secure and carry appropriate insurance and add proper additional insured.
All furniture is to be left and never moved.
Follow the arrival and check out procedures
Noise is to be respectful of the neighbours including the upstairs residential suites. There will not be others using the space during your experience unless otherwise agreed to.
Cancelation + Shifts
Things don’t always go to plan, we get it. In order to provide access to all who want to use the space, we make room for Shifts in the following ways:
Cancellation within 15 days of your reservation No refunds
Cancelations within 16 days - 30 days reschedule for a $25 administrative fee
Cancelations 30+ days Full refund

Repeat Experience Reservations: To reserve recurring time slots, please contact hello@shiftexperienceco.com for dates further than 60 days.
There is no use of the following. If violation occurs a $150 fee and no future bookings:
Candles, incense, open flame
Alcohol
Smoking or vaping
No animals with the exception of service animals
